Danny Peter Masterson was born on March 13, 1976 in Albertson, New York. He was bitten by the acting bug as early as three years old, having done numerous commercials. However, he was sixteen years old when he experienced shooting for the big screen. That was when he was selected as one of the cast members of the motion picture "Beethoven's 2nd."
Danny Masterson appeared in a number of television shows from 1993 to 1998 before he became more popularly known as Steven Hyde in "That '70s Show," which lasted for eight years. Among the shows he appeared in prior to "That '70s Show" were "Sliders," "Cybill," "American Gothic," "Seduced by Madness: The Diane Borchardt Story," "Tracey Takes On…," "Party of Five," "Extreme," "Roseanne," "Joe's Life," and "Jake and the Fatman."
He also appeared in other shows while being an active cast member of "That '70s Show," including "Robot Chicken," "Punk'd," "Entourage," "MADtv," "How to Make a Monster," "Grounded for Life," and "Strange Frequency."

He was seen in several movies as well, including "Bye Bye Love," "Star Kid," "Trojan War," "Face/Off," "The Faculty," "Too Pure," "Wild Horses," "Dirt Merchant," "Dracula 2000," "Alex in Wonder," "Hold On," "Hip, Edgy, Sexy, Cool," "Comic Book Villains," "You Are Here," "Puff, Puff, Pass," "Capers," and "Smiley Face." He is also one of the cast members of the film "Yes Man," which will be released in movie theaters in the United States either in 2008 or 2009.

He has invested part of his earnings in a restaurant called Dolce, which he co-owns with Ashton Kutcher and Wilmer Valderrama, actors who also star in "That '70s Show." Danny Masterson also considers Kutcehr and Valderrama as his best friends.

As a matter of fact, he was offered to co-host a Phat Farm Stuff Casino Weekend Poker Tournament that was held at the Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, which he gladly accepted. This celebrity poker player also played in such poker event and emerged victorious, taking home US$3,000. He defeated Mekhi Phifer, an actor who stars in the show "ER," and Jeff Shulman, chief executive officer of Card Player.
This celebrity poker player can also be seen on the television show "Poker Royale" because he is a member of the Unabombers poker team, which is a regular on the said show.
Moreover, this celebrity poker player played in Tournament 1 Game 2 of the second season of "Celebrity Poker Showdown," aired by the Bravo cable television channel.
